Representatives of The Children’s School, the Midtown Neighbors' Association, and neighbors of the school worked cooperatively to arrive at a master site plan for the school that represents a true win-win resolution. This new site plan will enable the school to create a campus that will meet all of its facility and play area needs in an architecturally innovative manner that will result in a more open look and feel for our campus. Among the more exciting features of the new plan is a new “terrace playground” that will be accessible at ground level from the upper (rear) part of the campus near the library and will span the roofs of two new one-story classroom buildings near the center of the campus which, due to the sloping topography of the campus, will themselves be accessible at ground level from the lower (front) part of the campus.
